What are you crown subjects bitching about anyways ? Your pointless yabbering about elections and such extraneous bullshit , whilst totally ignoring the far reaching powers of someone you clowns do not even get to vote on, the queen appoints your true master or mistress . le governor general , about time you told the queen and its minions to GTFO or die

you have a point, cheshire.

the drama being played out in oz politics just now is merely a sideshow for the media and the sheeple.  it does not matter who becomes the p.m., as australia is ruled by big mining companies, the murdoch empire and the big property lobby....some call this the "FIRE" (finance, insurance and real estate industries as well).  no different from the usa.

only the green party remains unpolluted by these international thugs, and there is a huge campaign on the part of the murdoch press to ridicule and destroy them.  don't believe anything you read in the australian mainstream media, including the national broadcaster, the abc.

bob katter is a red-neck loud-mouth who wants every man to have a gun.  he supports growing food for bio-fuel as his brother in law owns a company in that fast emerging industry.  australia has just signed an agreement with the usa to supply sugar cane (i think) to be processed into bio-fuel for the usa military.

katter has, i admit, got just a few sensible policies.  he loves to be in the limelight and is not taken seriously by many people here in oz land.

One of the reasons military vehicles use diesel is its kinda hard to get it burning as opposed to gasoline , gasoline also has a way short shelf life as opposed to diesel , making it hard to buy in bulk and or preposition for future use .   Using ethanol kinda defeats the purpose , if the military really wanted to go all self sufficent they would look into using hemp fuels .  Then again aluminum burns like fury once you get it going and an aluminum framed vehicle is a bonfire waiting to happen with the right ordnance  >:D

The green party? You mean the communists? Watermelons - green outside, red on the inside.

Tghe only reason green remain "unpolluted by these international thugs" is because they are worse than said international thugs.

Every man having a gun is a good start, but if you really want to have a free country, then every WOMAN has to have a gun, too.

15 million and counting...

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/44690575/ns/today-today_people/t/chicks-guns-some-million-us-women-pack-heat/

having a gun does not mean one is sprinkled with magic wiener dust and auto endowed with combat mindset necessary to look down the barrel and turn someone's face into a bowl of chunky soup.

no training , no live fire drills , no mindset and you may as well be carrying a designer scarf for all the good a loaded weapon will do you.

Thank fuck for that...   8)

Isn't it about damn time we had a movement to overturn that stupid compulsory voting law?

I wonder if GetUp! would get behind that idea? >:D
