Fuck p&g.  There was a nice little town that suffered the end of manufacturing a hundred years ago, and had one industry left.  It was the only gig in the area that offered high wage jobs, and the economic benefit that sloshed over into the town's economy.  Enter p&g.  They bought the company, and within 5 years gutted it.  Jobs were transferred to Cincinnati or plain cut.  The old man had to take a severance package after 25+ years with the place, would have been nice if he'd been able to keep banging away until retirement, but no.

I did gain this from watching:  I have NEVER ever believed that busting your hump for the company all your adult life will mean they'll return the favor beyond that week's paycheck.

Also, it's tough to avoid p&g products.
Fuck fuck fuck p&g.
p&g execs?  Fuck you.

Every single time I hear a fucked in the pension ass story , I am glad the old man sucked it up for 26 years in the chair force and has gotten a check every month for close to 30 years now.  Just one old age operation would have bankrupted my parents.   thanks taxpayers  >:D

Procter and Gamble is such a provocative, evocative name for a metaphor.

It must mean, buy it, gut it, and burn the survivors.

It's not that tough, really. They have a lot of products, but it's easy enough to wave off. The problem is finding other products that DON'T come with the same cost. :(
I mean really, if you're going to buy this stuff, what's the alternative? Unilever?  :o

I believe that all government is evil, and that trying to improve it is largely a waste of time.
 - H. L. Mencken

Historically, the most terrible things -- war, genocide, and slavery -- have resulted not from disobedience, but from obedience.
- Howard Zinn

In obedience there is always fear, and fear darkens the mind.

Hoping that this "civilization" will change is like hoping that a rabid foaming at the mouth wolf will change into a nice doggie. Ain't gonna happen! The best solution is for the rabid wolf to crawl off somewhere and die.
- Bosch

As for me, I harbour not the slightest doubt that the United States is about to commit and lead the world towards the greatest mistake in its history.
