Bartertown?
« on: November 24, 2011, 10:55:59 PM »
I wondered what Mule and others thought about the idea of a bartering thread?   I was thinking this might work particularly well in terms of the international membership where it's often a bit of a drama or expensive to send smallish amounts of money to other countries.

Maybe instead people could barter/exchange?   Maybe not even just goods such as knives and jewellery, but services such as web design?  Craftspeople are often making items which can be fairly easily posted.

Please note: I'm raising this idea on Susco too since the two forums do have some different members as well as an overlap.

There are a few folk on here that I have done remote computer fix and advise jobs for via logmein.

Would be happy to offer my services on a barter/gift basis.

I'm O.K. with a bartering thread, although I believe that has been mentioned before.  In fact, I already do some bartering for knives locally.
