Completed languages

The following languages have been subbed, and have been uploaded to the YT file:

Bulgarian
Czech
English
Finnish
French
Hebrew
Italian
Portugese (brazilian)
Portugese (pt)
Romanian
Spanish

Could we post each one here with a link to the complete video? Be nice to have an archive of each completed job as a show case.

That's the cool part: they're all embedded in the original youtube link. Just click on "CC" and you can select from a menu whichever language you want!

Ahh right, I was fiddling with embeds earlier today but the cc wouldn't work unless it was viewed on youtube. Embeds only gave the English language version even with youtube settings set to world wide.

The .srt can be downloaded from the opensub link above, and should play from VLC (don't know about other players, but they must be standard by now).

If we do a DVD, it'll be a good idea to wait until as many subs are created; that way, they can be burned onto it....

I would like to add the translation for the Greek Language of the video's subs.

I will have it translated by 2-3 days max. When i am done how should i share it?

I am already half-way into translating line by line within the .srt file with notepad. Is it a lot of trouble if i do it this way? perhaps i could upload the srt file with a file host and post the link here for you.

Let me know what you think if that's ok. For the moment i am going to keep translating the way i am.

As I'm quite new to this I believe I made a slight mistake.

1) I translated the entire dialog into swedish (srt), using notepad.
2) Not being fully used to the srt-format I created duplicate lines, like 66a and 66b, because the rythm of speech or translated sentence sounded better that way (in swedish).
3) Uploaded the file to universalsubtitles (amara) - ticking the box 100% complete - as I believed it to be.
4) Watched the YouTube version and realized that the letter å looked like Í and the duplicate lines were omitted.
5) Revised the subtitles using the tool provided (amara) - oh, I wish I had used it from the start!
6) The subtitling is now impeckable (Revision 6) 8), I hope..., tho I'm sorry to say it doesn't update on YouTube.

Is there anything you or I can do to update the version showed (Revision 4) on YouTube to Revision 6?
When this is done swedish may be added to the list of Completed languages.
